Cleveland Browns: 7-Round Dawg Pound Daily collaborative mock draft — Vol. 1
By Randy Gurzi
The staff writers from Dawg Pound Daily try their hands at a Cleveland Browns 7-Round Mock Draft as we fill as many needs as we can in the 2018 NFL Draft
With the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine starting next week, the staff here at Dawg Pound Daily is catching draft fever. It’s hard not to get excited about the prospects of what could come as your favorite team selects their players of the future. That excitement only intensifies when that team has 12 draft picks like the Cleveland Browns do.
Not only do they have that many picks, but nearly half of those are premium selections. Cleveland owns the opening pick, as well as the No. 4 overall in Day 1. On Day 2, they have four more selections as they have picks No. 33, 35 and 64 in the second-round and No. 65 in the third.
Despite finishing 0-16 in 2017, that kind of draft stock gives the team, and their fans, plenty of reason for optimism. Provided of course, that general manager John Dorsey and his staff are able to hit on those picks.
While we still don’t know fully what the plan from that front office is, we can surely try our best to predict who the picks will be. That’s why we bring you our first version of the Daily Dawg Pound Collaborative 7-Round Mock Draft.
We have six different mocks below, and if you like the writer’s opinions, click on their name and check out more of their work. With all that being said, let’s kick things off with our first prediction.
