5. Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Recently Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and general manager Howie Roseman were asked about the availability of Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. While they didn’t go as far as to say Foles was off the market, they did hint that keeping him is an option.

"“We’re trying to keep as many good players as possible, and you’re talking about a Super Bowl MVP,” Roseman said via Tim McManus of ESPN. “He’s been unbelievably successful for us, he’s got great character, great leadership. That room is exactly what we’re looking for. We have a franchise quarterback [in Carson Wentz], we have a Super Bowl MVP, and we have a young quarterback [in Nate Sudfeld] that we’re excited about as well, so that’s kind of how we’re looking at it as we get started in the offseason.”"

Even though they want to keep him, Foles makes a good bit of money and the Eagles are cap-strapped. They could use the space freed up by trading him, as well as any draft picks given in return.

Foles in Cleveland would be an upgrade over what they’ve had under center in recent memory. He showed that a team can win with him, and landing him would allow them to let DeShone Kizer develop while also using the first pick on Penn State running back Saquon Barkley.
