The New York Jets trade with the Indianapolis Colts just confirmed what many have said all along, quarterback has to go first no matter what. The group of four at the top of the position all have their flaws, so choosing one is not the easiest thing.

Sam Darnold out of USC is the best of that group. His combination of size, athleticism, and passing ability puts him at the top. He needs to learn to limit the turnovers, but if he does his future is extremely bright.

Possessing the first and fourth overall picks could put the Browns in a historically unique situation. Not only could they get best quarterback on the board, but the best overall player as well. Penn State running back Saquon Barkley has separated himself from the pack, and is deserving of this pick.

His combine performance was impressive, but he is much more than just a good workout. His combination of running, receiving, and blocking has the potential to be one of the best the NFL has ever seen. The main factor preventing this would be the New York Giants drafting him second overall, but someone will probably just trade to that spot for a quarterback. You have to stay positive, right?
