Cleveland Browns: Day Two 2018 NFL Mock Draft
By Randy Gurzi
With their first pick in the second-round, the Cleveland Browns will once again have some decisions to make. With a couple big-name players slipping into the second, they could start fielding calls again. While that’s going to be tempting, the Browns need to stay put and keep adding talent.

They did well in the first with Mayfield and Ward — which is added to their incredible offseason haul that included wide receiver Jarvis Landry, running back Carlos Hyde and safety Damarious Randall.
Now they have a shot to add someone with first round talent and it comes down to Boston College defensive end Harold Landry and Michigan defensive tackle Maurice Hurst.
Cleveland elects to go with Hurst here, and need surely plays a factor. They recently traded defensive tackle Danny Shelton to the Patriots, and can use another weapon next to Larry Ogunjobi.
Hurst was considered a top-15 talent for much of the draft process, but a health scare likely is the cause of his fall. Hurst was sent home from the NFL Scouting Combine due to a problem with his heart. He has since been medically cleared, but there could still be some concern.
As long as Cleveland feels comfortable with his health though, this pick could be huge.
