When a team is fresh off a winless season and they then alter the majority of the roster, there becomes no shortage of questions. For the Cleveland Browns though, the biggest concern still has to be what they’re going to do at left tackle with Joe Thomas now retired.

Getting the first crack at things is Shon Coleman and his backup was Greg Robinson. However, the aforementioned injury for Robinson threw a wrench in that plan. Rather than panic, the Browns simply slid rookie Austin Corbet from guard to left tackle according to the team’s official website.

"“Rookie Austin Corbett worked behind Shon Coleman at left tackle. Corbett, the 33rd overall pick in the NFL Draft this past spring, played that position all four years at Nevada. The Browns, however, are still trying to figure out where the versatile Corbett best fits on the offensive line.” — Patrick Maks, ClevelandBrowns.com"

It’s been no secret the Browns want Corbett playing inside and they’ve even toyed with the notion of moving Joel Bitonio from guard to tackle. The issue here is that losing Bitonio at guard could be devastating.

Having another versatile player like Corbett who can play all five positions is huge. It may only be for a brief time in camp, but Corbett proving he can step in and handle this spot is a big plus for this team that needs some kind of answers at a vital position.
