Three Cleveland Browns that are next in line for the Hall of Fame
By Dan Justik
Joe Thomas
Of any former Brown that is not in the Hall of Fame, Joe Thomas is the safest bet to be selected. Thomas is most likely going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer when he becomes eligible.

Despite never playing in a playoff game, Thomas has quite the list of accomplishments. Thomas was drafted with the third overall selection in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played in 167 games in his career, starting every game.
Thomas did something in his career that is unprecedented in the NFL. Until he suffered a triceps injury in 2017, Thomas played every snap in every game that he played. The final snap of Thomas’ career was the 10,363 consecutive snap played in his career. It is something that will likely never be seen again in the NFL.
In Thomas’ 11-year career, he was selected to ten Pro Bowls. The only season that Thomas was not selected to the Pro Bowl was his injury-shortened season in 2017. He was also named an All-Pro nine times, including seven first-team selections.
Thomas easily has the resume to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It is almost a certainty that he will be a first-ballot selection when he becomes eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2023.
