2. Stay in the Playoff Hunt

The Cleveland Browns don’t even have to make the playoffs in 2018. All they have to do to majorly improve after last season is to keep themselves in contention throughout most of the season. As long as they show improvement on the field and make use of their new talents, fans will be happy. But wouldn’t it be something if they actually stayed in the playoff hunt all season?

Again, they don’t have to make the playoffs this year, or even grab a wild card spot. All the Browns need to do is make sure they can stay competitive, maybe win six or seven games, and show fans that the team is heading in the right direction. Even if the Browns were to win four or five games in 2018, it would be a major improvement from the last two seasons.

The playoffs might be a dream for the Browns for just one more year. However, that does not mean they cannot be major players in the hunt for this year’s playoffs. If the Browns can’t make the playoffs, maybe they can play spoiler to other teams looking to get into the postseason. Perhaps the Steelers? A fan can dream.
