Cleveland Browns: 2018 Training Camp Awards
Most Improved
The “Most Improved” award is the prize that goes to, of course, the Cleveland Brown who made the biggest leap in this training camp alone. From a breakout star, to a UDFA who stole our hearts, this award can mean a spot on the team, the birth of a star, or a shift up in the depth chart. Let’s meet the nominees.

Nominated for this award were tight end David Njoku, defensive lineman Trevon Coley, and wide receiver Rashard Higgins. We here at Dawg Pound Daily are delighted to present the 2018 Most Improved award to Browns wide receiver, Rashard Higgins.
Higgins became a favorite target of No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield throughout the course of training camp. Following the trade of Corey Coleman, both Higgins and fellow receiver Antonio Callaway were willing to step up in Coleman’s absence. With a great training camp under his belt, Higgins is ready for a much bigger role on the offense, perhaps as a starting receiver.
Rashard Higgins has had an up and down rookie and sophomore campaign with the Browns, there is no debate about that. However, his improvement throughout the summer months has netted him both a larger role on this year’s Browns team, and more importantly, a Dawg Pound Daily training camp award honor. Congratulations, Mr. Higgins, you are the most improved Cleveland Brown from this year’s training camp.
