TE Seth DeValve

It would be a huge surprise if the Browns do decide to move on from Seth DeValve, but it should be stated that the potential is there.

DeValve has missed a lot of time during training due to a thigh injury, and has not had the ability to show his potential to Dorsey and offensive coordinator Todd Haley. If Dorsey is not confident in DeValve’s abilities, he may decide to move on from the 25-year-old tight end.

There is also the possibility that Dorsey likes what he has seen from Devon Cajuste this preseason. Cajuste has become a fan favorite after being featured on Hard Knocks. But he has also made some plays, and might have impressed the coaching staff.

But Cajuste would have to have done a lot to take a roster spot away from DeValve. Although DeValve is not the best blocker, he has shown that he can play well as a NFL tight end.

The only reason that his roster spot could be in question is because he has rarely played since the team began training camp in July. And no one knows about how Dorsey feels about DeValve’s talent.

dark. Next. When will the Browns' first win since 2016 happen?

As it was stated earlier, DeValve not making the final roster would be one of the biggest surprises. But unless Dorsey is comfortable with what he has seen from DeValve last year, there is a chance DeValve does not make the final roster.
