Players on the waiver wire the Cleveland Browns should consider adding

Offensive Tackle Austin Howard
Just a few years ago, Austin Howard was known for being one of the better right tackles in the league. But as Howard has gotten older, he has dramatically regressed.
The 31-year-old offensive tackle signed with the Indianapolis Colts this off-season after playing one season with the Baltimore Ravens. Despite his track record and starting experience, the Colts decided to move on from Howard.
The Browns have been very weak on the offensive line during preseason and will be looking for upgrades wherever they can get it. Although Howard is not the player that he once was, the Browns would be adding him to be a backup tackle – most likely.
With the amount of movement on the offensive line, the Browns could even see Howard as a potential option as the starting left tackle. The Browns currently have two true offensive tackles on their 53-man roster: Desmond Harrison and Greg Robinson.
The Browns are starting Joel Bitonio at left tackle, but they are considering moving him back to left guard. Adding Howard will give them depth at the position in case they need a tackle that can start that has experience in the NFL.
Robinson would likely be the player replaced by Howard, as it seems Harrison has a bright future in a Browns uniform.
