Cleveland Browns vs. Jets: Do we predict a Friday hangover?

New York Jets (1-1) at Cleveland Browns (0-1-1)
Summary: I had the Browns taking USC quarterback Sam Darnold and Oho State cornerback Denzel Ward in the Draft. On Thursday, I’ll get a glimpse of what could have been.
Sam Darnold was taken by the New York Jets at No. 3 Overall and so far has been solid through 2 games with 532 yards 3 TDs 3 interceptions and a 66 percent completion percentage as well as a 1-1 record. He won’t be teamed with Ward, but instead they’ll compete as Ward went to Cleveland with the very next pick.
Both teams have had fantastic play from their defenses, but Sam Darnold is the X-factor. When he’s played well (Monday Night Football against Detroit in Week 1) the team looks good. When he doesn’t (Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins) the team can suffer.
I think Darnold will play well, but this may be the week that the Browns pull out the W. It’ll be close but I think the play of Myles Garrett and the coverage of Denzel Ward will give the Jets fits. If the team can run on the Jets, they’ll pull this one off.
Final Score: Cleveland 20, Jets 17
