Game: Cleveland Browns (1-1-1) at Oakland Raiders (0-3)

Summary: The Cleveland Browns got their first win in 635 days, in case you didn’t hear. The victory fridges were opened and fans finally got to celebrate a win during the regular season. Of course, we all know the play of rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield sparked them to the win as he was sensational in his debut.

He entered the game down 14-0 and led them to a win with just over two quarters of play. Now the starter for them, the Browns have to feel more confident going forward. This is no knock on Tyrod Taylor, but Mayfield is just such a better fit for the players that Cleveland gas on their offense. His ability to get the ball out of his hands quickly — and the speed at which the bank gets to the receivers — is a game changer. Look for more of this as he faces a 0-3 team with a questionable defense.

After Jon Gruden traded away Khalil Mack, it’s been comical how he can’t figure out why there’s no pass rush. Oakland simply gives too much time for opponents to throw and it’s killing them. In fact, they’ve led every game at the half this season, but then they can’t hold the lead.

Look for that to happen again as their offense finds ways to put up points early on, only to watch Mayfield and this young Browns team pull off another fourth-quarter upset to give the Browns a winning streak. Doesn’t that sound awesome?

Final Score: Cleveland 24, Oakland 17
