The Cleveland Browns face a serious challenge this week against the Los Angeles Chargers. These Chargers have lost two games. Both of those teams are undefeated. If the Browns truly believe they should be undefeated, then it is time to beat good teams like the Chargers.

More from Browns News

Standing the way of another Browns’ victory is the Cleveland Browns. Yes, you read that right. The Browns are their own worst enemy when it comes to winning games. They need to reduce if not eliminate penalties.

The special teams are a mess. They need to figure out how to block on extra points and field goals. The blocking on the wings are atrocious. The kick return game needs addressed on two fronts. First, the returner needs to make better decisions and have better vision. Second, blocking is bad and penalties are almost automatic on returns. Punt need blocked for and covered better as well. The Browns cannot lose this third of the game and expect to win regularly.

The Browns are good enough to beat the Chargers. The question is can they figure out their own issues. Unless they can stop getting in their own way, they will always be in close games that come down to the wire. And that is not a place any team wants to be facing quarterback Philip Rivers.
