Stud: Jarvis Landry

The Cleveland Browns offense has needed one of their play-makers to step up. On Sunday, Jarvis Landry did just that, as he became a reliable target for Mayfield. Landry caught ten passes for 97 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.

Landry and Mayfield have struggled the past few weeks to build a solid connection. The two were missing on throws that should have been completed. Mayfield has said that he needed to do a better job of getting Landry the ball, and that is what he did against Tampa Bay.

The Browns did use Landry as an underneath target on third downs, and that is where he caught most of his passes. Landry was the only consistent target for Mayfield on Sunday because he was the only player that was able to find space.

Landry did score the game-tying touchdown, making a diving catch on a low Mayfield throw. Landry had great awareness on the play as well, using his momentum to slide to the one-yard line and reach the ball over the goal-line for the touchdown.

If the Browns do not make any other moves to add talent to the wide receiver room, they are going to need Landry to step up. Landry answered the challenge on Sunday, but he needs to do that every game and perform like a No. 1 wide receiver.
