Game: Atlanta Falcons (4-4) at Cleveland Browns (2-6-1)

Summary: Despite losing in Week 9, the Cleveland Browns showed us a lot, especially on offense. Baker Mayfield played much better with Freddie Kitchens calling the plays and Duke Johnson was finally involved as a receiver. Both of those facts were highly encouraging as they were playing one of the best teams in the NFL.

Now, they take on another good team in the Atlanta Falcons. The Dirty Birds have shaken off a terrible start to the season and with three wins in a row, they’re now at 4-4. However, they’re still not playing to the best of their ability. That’s due to the fact that they’re missing some key players on the defensive side of the ball. With them gone, look for Mayfield and the Browns to continue moving the ball well.

The issue will be if Cleveland can slow down the talented Falcons offense. Matt Ryan is a former league MVP and Julio Jones is one of the best wideouts in the game. They can’t just focus on him either as Mohamed Sanu and rookie Calvin Ridley can destroy teams as well.

Still, the Browns are due for a big game. For some reason, this feels like a good possibility for them to have that game. Atlanta is 1-2 on the road and their offense isn’t as quick outside the dome. Look for another big game from Duke Johnson, but he won’t be the difference maker. That could go to Myles Garrett here as I am predicting a huge strip-sack from the big man that turns the tide in a close game.

Final score: Cleveland 27, Atlanta 24
