Dud: Greg Robinson

Overall, Cleveland Browns left tackle Greg Robinson had a solid day. He was not allowing a ton of pressure, which helped Mayfield deliver throws from the pocket. He also did a good job of creating push at the line of scrimmage and gave Chubb running room.

But Robinson did commit two mistakes that hurt the Browns offense. On the Browns first play of the second half, coming off a forced fumble and recovery by the defense, Robinson was beat badly while in pass protection.

Brooks Reed was able to get a step on Robinson and was able to run the circle right around the Browns left tackle. Reed had a straight shot for Mayfield, and he was able to strip the Browns quarterback as he started his throwing motion.

It worked out fine for the Browns, as Mayfield was able to recover the loose ball and actually gained a couple yards on the play. But Robinson was beat badly on the play, and had Mayfield held the ball a second longer, he would have been drilled in the back by Reed.

Later on in the second half, Chubb was able to break off a nice run off the left edge, getting the Browns close to a first down. However, the play was called back after an obvious hold on the play by Robinson. Robinson did not get off the ball well and was forced to hold the defender because he was out of position to make the block.

Had it not been for these two mistakes, Robinson played a pretty clean game. But he is still showing the flaws that has caused him to be seen as a bust.
