Game: Cleveland Browns (3-6-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (5-5)

Summary: The Cleveland Browns head to Cincinnati to take on their in-state rivals. Adding a little something extra to the rivalry is the presence of Hue Jackson on the Bengals sideline.

He has a made-up title, but the ‘special assistant to the head coach’ is there for one reason — he’s going to give insider information to the Bengals about how to slow down the Browns offense. Bad thing is, he never really understood the offense while he was with the Browns. It’s also a completely different (good) offense without Hue. In short, the best way to slow them down would be to put Jackson back on the Browns sideline.

In reality, Jackson will have no impact on this game. If anything, the Cleveland players may want to give him and his new team another loss. Jackson was considered a player’s coach, but it became apparent very fast that wasn’t the case. No one seemed sad to see him go and the mood with the team is much better now.

Their play is better as well, evident by their win over the Atlanta Falcons before they went on the bye week. Now with the extra time to prepare, the Browns will go to Cincinnati and show once again this isn’t the same pushover team people remember. They could also end up with yet another Rookie of the Week, but it’s anyone’s guess which of their three studs wins that award.

Final Score: Cleveland 27, Cincinnati 17
