Stud: Damarious Randall

No player seems to enjoy Hue Jackson getting a new job as much as free safety Damarious Randall did. Although, it wasn’t like he was happy for his old boss. Instead, he found it rather funny as Randall responded to the news with several laughing emojis.

That showed that players weren’t as big on Jackson as the narrative made it seem. Usually, when someone loses a job, the players say nothing — unless of course, they decide to praise their former boss.

Randall even went on as the game got closer talking about how bad the Browns would win. Then, he went out there and backed up his talk. Randall was on the receiving end of an errant Andy Dalton pass and hauled it in for his third pick of the season.

What was even better was the fact that he then ran to the Cincinnati sideline and nonchalantly handed the ball to Jackson. That move got fans fired up on Twitter as there wasn’t a Cleveland fan that didn’t love the bold move from the safety.

Randall was acquired in the offseason in exchange for quarterback DeShone Kizer. So far, he’s looked to be a great addition to a team that needed a ball-hawking centerfield type of safety.
