Round 2: Collin Johnson, WR, Texas

John Dorsey has been seen more than once going to games to scout players and most recently he was spotted at the Big 12 Championship to watch Oklahoma and Texas. While he was out there showing off his innate fashion sense, he was also looking at players who could help the Browns.

One player who surely stood out was Collin Johnson of the Texas Longhorns. Although they were unable to beat the Sooners, Johnson stole the show for Texas with Dorsey front and center. He hauled in eight receptions for 177 yards and a touchdown.

Not only did he put up those huge numbers, but he’s really the exact type of player the Browns are missing from their offense. They have the sure-handed Jarvis Landry who excels out of the slot. They also have Antonio Callaway who is proving to be a big play waiting to happen.

What they don’t have is a tall receiver who can win the contested passes and is good in the red zone. That’s where the 6-foot-6, 220-pound Johnson can come in and be a huge weapon for Baker Mayfield and company.

He’s a vastly underrated prospect who can surely help his stock with a big showing at the NFL Scouting Combine. Here, he lands in the second round and can prove to be a steal for Cleveland.
