3. Trevon Coley, Defensive Tackle

The Denver Broncos have two rookie running backs who have been a nightmare to stop. Undrafted rookie Phillip Lindsay comes in with 967 yards and nine touchdowns, whereas third-round pick Royce Freeman has rumbled for 433 yards and five touchdowns. Each has been fantastic this season and they each have such a different style that it’s hard to defend both.

More from Browns News

Having said that, the Browns need to figure out a way to slow them down if they want to win this one. That hasn’t been easy for them this season as the Browns are giving up 133.3 yards per game on the ground — which is 28th in the league. Even with that being the case, they held their own for the most part against Christian McCaffrey in Week 14.

Yes, Run CMC had two touchdowns, but he finished with only 63 yards on the ground. In fact, the entire Carolina team was held to just 96 yards, which was an accomplishment in itself. If they can do the same this week, they could win. In order for that to happen, they will need someone like Trevon Coley to step up.

Currently, he’s been the biggest liability in the run game on the defensive line. Larry Ogunjobi, Myles Garrett, and Emmanuel Ogbah have all held their own and will make their plays. In order to shut down these two, they will need the same from Coley, making him one of the more important players in Week 15.
