2. David Njoku, Tight End

When the Broncos were upset last week, it had a lot to do with their inability to cover the tight end. Cleveland fans understand how deadly this can be as they’ve had their own issues in that department for the past couple of seasons.

In Week 14, George Kittle was unstoppable as the San Francisco tight end caught seven passes for 210 yards and a touchdown. For Cleveland, they likely won’t get that kind of production out of David Njoku, but he’s still capable of putting up big numbers.

Here, they will need him to dig deep and deliver a strong performance. That hasn’t been the norm for Njoku, who had just 35 yards off three receptions last week, but he’s an athletic freak who causes matchup problems for opposing defenses.

He has yet to put it all together, but still is having a solid season. Njoku enters this game second on the team in receptions with 47, second in yards with 474, and tied for the lead in touchdowns with three.

It’s a far cry from the breakout season we all hoped for, but he can atone for that with a great run down the stretch. Seeing how Denver struggled to cover the middle of the field, this would be a great game to get rolling.
