Who would’ve thought that before the season started both Denver and Cleveland would be alive for the playoffs? Both have won three out of their last four games and can smell the postseason. They both need outside help, but it starts with this game.

Conventional wisdom says Denver should win this game. They had the harder road to go through, beating both the Chargers and Steelers in consecutive weeks. They’ve got one of the games premier pass rushers in Von Miller as well as rookie standouts Bradley Chubb, Phillip Lindsey, and Courtland Sutton.

More from Browns News

Despite Baker Mayfield and the Browns being 3-2 since Greg Williams took over as head coach and Freddie Kitchens took over as offensive coordinator, The Browns are a different team on the road than at home, having won only once on the road all year.

This game is going to flash plenty of rookie talent that looks like they’ll be among the best in a few years in Baker Mayfield, Bradley Chubb, Nick Chubb, Denzel Ward (not playing), Courtland Sutton, Phillip Lindsey, and Genard Avery.

This game is all about the future of these franchises but for this game, I give the Broncos a slight edge. This won’t eliminate the Browns but this game is probably one they’ll look back on as a could-have/should-have miss.

Prediction: Denver 25, Cleveland 20
