Stud: Jabrill Peppers

Saturday night was easily Jabrill Peppers best game since he was drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft. Peppers was all over the field making plays, and the plays he made helped keep the Broncos off the board multiple times. Peppers made six total tackles, including a sack, two tackles for loss, and an interception.

Peppers put his athleticism on full display against the Broncos, especially during his key stop late in the first half. With the game tied at 10, the Broncos were driving just past the two-minute warning. Case Keenum lofted a pass into the corner of the end-zone, but Peppers was able to range over from the middle of the field to pick off the pass.

Then at the very end of the game, Peppers was able to split the Broncos offensive line on fourth down and sacked Keenum to end the game.

After the Browns decided to move Peppers closer to the line of scrimmage, his performance has excelled. Playing him closer to the action, Peppers has been able to become more involved compared to when he was playing free safety.

Peppers is making plays in the run game, but has also been playing tight coverage. After his performance on Saturday, the Browns should be very excited about Peppers’ future.
