While his career will always be a hot topic of debate, Josh Gordon had one of the best seasons not only in Cleveland history but NFL history as well in 2013. That year he went off as he pulled in 87 receptions for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns. That was the record for the most yardage by a receiver in Cleveland history and even had his land at No. 13 all-time in NFL history.

The former Baylor wideout came into the NFL with a lot of baggage as he had to enter the 2012 Supplemental Draft after he was let go from Baylor for failed drug tests. He transferred to Utah in 2011 but never played for them as he instead found his way to the NFL the following season.

Cleveland used a second-round pick on his services and it seemed right away like they may have made a mistake. He was suspended to start his second season in the league, but then when he did show up after missing two games, he was unstoppable.

Gordon was catching passes from Brandon Weeden and even had people believing in him as a legitimate starter thanks to the chunks of yardage he was hauling in. Gordon nearly had 19-yards per catch and showed the kind of skill that fans openly longed for during the next five years in which he was suspended more often than not.

After missing all of 2015 and 2016, Gordon made it back to the field in 2017 for just five games. He then played one game this season before being dealt to the New England Patriots. He still has never shown the same game-changing skill he displayed in 2013, but Gordon will still always have a huge following in Cleveland thanks to his remarkable season.

And we can all imagine just how much better that year could have been if he had some more weapons around him to take some of the attention off of him.
