1. Baker passes a Cleveland favorite, sets a Browns’ rookie record (and still won’t hug Hue)

Since taking over during Week 3, Baker Mayfield has proven to be everything the Cleveland Browns needed at quarterback. He’s also on the way to setting a Cleveland rookie record for passing yards.

Entering Week 16, Mayfield has 3,065 yards — which is less than 300 yards from the record of 3,385. Thet record was set in 2012 by Brandon Weeden and in Week 16 our final bold prediction is that Mayfield will go for enough yards to pass Weeden.

That’s not the only prediction as this one is actually a three-part bold prediction. The second part is that Mayfield will also pass a fan-favorite by throwing at least two touchdowns. Doing so will move him to 23 on the season, which passes the most thrown in a year by Bernie Kosar — who is still one of the most respected passers in Cleveland history.

As good as it would be for Mayfield to accomplish both things in one game, the final prediction is the one most pundits will care about.

For some reason, several people were miffed that Baker didn’t hug Hue Jackson at midfield following the Week 12 win. Apparently, he was supposed to forget Jackson held him back and that he also ripped his teammates following his ouster.

Mayfield didn’t forget that though and called Hue fake — which is his right to do. It was also his right to enjoy beating him and we all knew Mayfield would be the kind of guy to tell it like it is.

Again after this one, look for the meeting at midfield to be short, and not so sweet. Mayfield won’t change because people like Colin Cowherd and Damien Woody got their feelings hurt. And we don’t want him to.
