3. Brian Hoyer

Brian Hoyer, or better known as Hoyer the Destroyer, came to Cleveland as the third-string quarterback behind Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell in 2013. However, just one week into the season, Hoyer was thrust into action and actually had the Browns rolling.

He had won two games in a row and was on the verge before devastatingly tearing his ACL in the fourth week of the season. He is known for recovering from the injury and beating out Johnny Manziel for the starting job the next year. However, the call for the exciting Johnny Football may have plagued what otherwise could have been a bit more successful time in Cleveland.

Hoyer played only two seasons for the Browns and finished with a relatively impressive 10-6 record over his 16 starts. He completed 56 percent of his passes while throwing 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while also maneuvering the largest road comeback in NFL history in 2014.

Hoyer signed with the Texans after the 2014 season with a chance to compete for their starting job. After one season in Houston, Hoyer has also started games for both Chicago and San Francisco and now finds himself in New England playing behind Tom Brady.
