2. Nelson Agholor, Philadelphia Eagles

When Chip Kelly was running the Philadelphia Eagles, he made some questionable moves. One of those was drafting Nelson Agholor out of USC in the first round back in 2014. Or at least it seemed like a mistake. Agholor was a bad fit with Kelly and struggled mightily in his rookie season. Then Kelly was fired and Agholor showed he can play.

More from Browns News

After a modest 2016, Agholor took to Doug Pederson‘s offense and had 768 yards off 62 receptions with eight touchdowns. He had another good season in 2018 with 736 yards off 64 receptions, although his touchdown total slipped to eight. As good as he was, the fourth-year pro could have been even better had the front office never traded for Golden Tate.

Making the move for the Detroit Lions wideout halfway through the season seemed like a smart move, but it took some of Agholor’s targets away. Now entering his final season, there are reports being floated that he could be on the open market. If he truly is, that’s a move that could be intriguing to the Browns.

He’s not the prototypical No. 1 receiver, but he’s got plenty of speed. He’s also a player on the rise who has been improving each season in the NFL.
