Los Angeles Rams – Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh

If the Browns wanted to target a bigger name and a potentially more impactful player at defensive tackle, then they may not have to look outside of the NFC West. The Los Angeles Rams built an extremely talented defense, but will not be able to bring all of that talent back this off-season.

One of the players that may be out of the Rams’ price range is defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Suh played well in his one season in Los Angeles, and he ended up almost playing better in the postseason than the regular season.

In the regular season, Suh started all 16 games, compiling 59 total tackles, four tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and 19 quarterback hits. In three playoff games, Suh made six total tackles, two tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and five quarterback hits.

At 32-years-old, Suh has shown that he is still a dominating force in the middle of a defensive line. He has the ability to affect offenses both against the pass and run. Although he did not put up crazy sack numbers, Suh is able to create plenty of pressure on the quarterback.

If the Browns want to build one of the strongest defensive lines in the NFL, adding Suh would be the way to go. He would be much more expensive than Gunter, but the Browns have the money to make Suh consider coming to Cleveland.
