2. Corey Liuget, Los Angeles Chargers

Defensive tackle Corey Liuget is about to hit the open market, but he may be signed for less than his talent suggests. His value could be diminished as he’s currently recovering from a torn quadriceps muscle which prematurely ended his final season with the Los Angeles Chargers.

In addition to his injury, Liuget was hit with a four-game suspension due to a PED violation. Both issues led to him missing a total of 10 games last year and the Bolts ended up declining an option in his contract — which sets him up for the open market.

Even with the questions around him, Liuget is still a great option to consider in free agency. During the majority of his tenure with the Chargers, Liuget was one of the more consistent defensive tackles in the NFL. His play led to the club giving him a $58.5 million deal with $30 million guaranteed back in 2015.

Liuget will also be looking for a shot at redemption in 2019 making him the kind of player who is worth betting on. He may not sign for more than one season as he aims for one last big payday, but that could be exactly what the Browns need — especially if they do end up finding a defensive tackle in the draft.
