Third Quarter

  • Week 10: Buffalo

  • Week 11: Pittsburgh

  • Week 12: Miami

  • Week 13: @ Pittsburgh

The final eight weeks of the season for the Browns will have them playing five of their six divisional games. If the Browns plan on winning the AFC North in 2019, they are going to have to play well at the end of the season.

Although the Browns will not be playing against a 2018 playoff team during this quarter of the season, their two match-ups against the Pittsburgh Steelers will seem like they are playing against a playoff team.

Pittsburgh lost two of their offensive stars in Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, but already have two in-house replacements with JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner. They may not have the depth on the offensive side of the ball that they did last season, but there shouldn’t be a dramatic drop off in their offensive talent.

The Bills are heading towards the end of their rebuild and are starting to add more talent to their roster. However, even though they are trying to compete next season, their level of talent does not match the Browns’ yet. This game being at home will also make this a less difficult game for Cleveland.

And the Browns will also get the opportunity to play the team who will most likely be picking in one of the top three selections in the 2020 draft. Miami has torn down their roster and will be entering a rebuild, making this one of the most likely wins for the Browns next season.
