Cleveland Browns: 3 free agents to add after OTAs
By Randy Gurzi
3. Brandon Fusco, Guard
For the second season in a row, the Browns coaches are trying to work Austin Corbett into a starting role and again, it’s starting off slow. After initially taking reps as the first-team right guard, Corbett moved to second-string center as Kyle Kalis replaced him with the ones according to Scott Patsko of Cleveland.com.
"“Kalis took all the first-team reps at right guard during Wednesday’s OTA session. In last week’s session open to media, Kalis took a handful of first-team reps, but Corbett got the bulk of them.” — Patsko, Cleveland.com"

It’s still early but this has to be concerning. Corbett’s inability to take over at left guard led to the signing of Greg Robinson as Cleveland didn’t feel comfortable using Joel Bitonio as a tackle. Should his development continue to move slowly, the Browns may want to consider an alternative.
If they decided to look to free agency as they did with Robinson a season ago, they could find Brandon Fusco to be a viable option. Fusco is a former sixth-round pick who has 87 career starts. He spent 2018 with the Atlanta Falcons, after six seasons with the Vikings and one in San Francisco.
He started seven games for Atlanta in 2918, but an ankle injury prematurely ended his season. He was released with an injury designation, but if healthy, he can be a decent starter as they continue to wait for the No. 33 overall pick from last year to blossom.
