Three reasons to be excited about the Cleveland Browns in 2019

There are several reasons for Cleveland Browns fans to be excited about their team in 2019, but these are the three biggest reasons for that excitement
This isn’t the same Cleveland Browns team we’re used to. In years past, the hope has been that they can piece together a few wins and play some competitive football. That finally happened in 2018 as the Browns put a 1-31 record over the past two seasons to bed.
Things started off with head coach Hue Jackson and “The Cleanse.” The idea there was that Jackson was going to jump into Lake Erie after he completely failed to live up to his promise of improving the roster. He turned his shortcomings into a slogan and said 2018 was all about cleansing the team from the losing culture.
That finally happened, but not until they actually got rid of the one who bred the losing mentality — which was Hue himself. Fired after going 3-36-1 overall in two and a half seasons, Jackson was replaced with Gregg Williams and the team went 5-3 down the stretch and just missed a winning record.
This year, it feels as though that goal is within reach after several moves were made to bolster the roster. Not only have they added more talent, but new head coach Freddie Kitchens also gives them a reason for optimism as the team seems to be all in on him as their leader.
With OTAs underway and training camp within site, there’s plenty to be thrilled about this season for Cleveland fans. Here are the three main reasons for that excitement.
