2018 Fantasy Points: 87.9 points

The Browns passing offense is going to allow a lot of their receivers to be attractive options in fantasy drafts. Cleveland is expected to score a lot of points in 2019, so they are going to be flying off draft boards, especially in PPR leagues.

That will also include tight end David Njoku, who despite not putting up the numbers he was expected to last season, still finished as top-10 tight end in most stat categories. Tight end was also an incredibly weak fantasy position in 2018, so Njoku could be viewed as one of the top tight ends in 2019.

Last season, Njoku started all 16 games, catching 56 passes for 639 yards and four touchdowns. He was Cleveland’s second most targeted player with 88 targets.

Although he may not be the second most targeted receiver in 2019, the stacked wide receiver corps should create space for Njoku in the middle of the field. With Beckham, Landry, and Callaway attracting the attention of safeties, Njoku should have more opportunities down the seams. And Monken’s concepts should create openings for Njoku in the offense.

With Monken implementing some his offensive concepts, Njoku will be more than just a red zone threat. He will have the potential to score plenty of points in 2019 and improve on his 2018 numbers, making him a top tight end target in fantasy.
