Last season, the Browns defensive line had their share of issues, especially in the middle. Larry Ogunjobi did all he could and really took some major strides in his second NFL campaign but the talent around him just wasn’t there. For that reason, general manager John Dorsey went out and signed free agent defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson to a three-year, $36 million contract.

While Richardson shores things up, the Browns weren’t 100 percent satisfied with their tackles. They showed this by pursuing Gerald McCoy in free agency after he was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They reportedly didn’t offer him enough money, which shows they do have faith in their starters but really did want some depth.

With our No. 5 pick on this list, we add some serious depth to that line by bringing in Michael Dean Perry. The 285-pound defensive tackle played for the Browns for seven seasons and had 51.5 sacks and 480 tackles in that span. during his prime, he had an 11.5 sack season followed by consecutive 8.5 sack campaigns.

He was even lucky enough to have a McDonald‘s burger named after him, which could be a win for all of us as adding him back to the Cleveland roster could also mean the fast-food chain would revive the MDP Burger.
