3 Cleveland Browns to invite to a 4th of July cookout
1. Baker Mayfield
I want a good crowd for my cookout, so I need an A-list guest, and it doesn’t get much more A-list than a franchise quarterback. Baker Mayfield is the cool kid that everyone wants to hang with. Whatever that “it” quality is, Baker has it.
Now this year might be tough (he is getting married and all), but Baker can consider this a standing invitation. I’m secretly hoping that if I get Baker I can maybe get Odell and Jarvis. Heck, I can probably get the whole offense.
But, having “6” around the grill would be a nice pull by itself. Now I’m not beneath having some adult beverages at my party, so if Baker were to come with Christian Yelich and they were to have a beer chugging contest to shame Aaron Rodgers, I would be a rude host if I didn’t oblige them. The only possible problem is that I will have some Buckeyes fans at my cookout and there is that small matter of a certain flag plant in the Horseshoe.
But, I’m hoping that a moment like this from last year will mean that all is forgiven. It is for me. Baker, be advised I do a play a pretty competitive game of corn hole.
