4. Who can finish off the receiver battle?

Even with Antonio Callaway suspended for the first four games, the Browns still know who the top three wideouts will be. Odell Beckham, Jr., Jarvis Landry, and Rashard Higgins have that locked down. Even when Callaway returns, he will have to fight to snaps considering the strength of those three.

As for who makes up the rest of the wide receiver depth chart, that’s yet to be answered. Players such as Jaelen Strong, and Derrick Willies have all made their case — as did D.J. Montgomery although he was sadly lost to a hamstring injury. There’s also another player who could be in contention as a second-year pass-catcher is coming back from injury.

Damion Ratley has recently returned to the lineup and he knows he has a lot of ground to cover. While he was out injured, Ratley says he fell behind and can’t lean on the fact that he made the team as a rookie.

"“Last year was last year,” Ratley said via Fred Geetham of 247 Sports. “I can’t worry about last year. That was last year. I have to go out and make plays this year and try to make the team again. Last year, was last year and it doesn’t matter anyways.”"

There’s not a lot of time left but there are a lot of options. This week is as good as any for one of these players to separate from the pack.
