Cleveland Browns Week 1 Prediction vs. Tennessee Titans

Summary: Not since their initial return in 1999 have Browns fans been so excited. This Sunday, the NFL will get their first look at the 2019 Cleveland Browns, who have gone from winless to one of the most talented teams in the league on paper. These Browns are not aiming to win just one game, or keep their heads above the .500 mark. No, these Cleveland Browns are looking to make the playoffs and maybe, just maybe, win it all. Let’s take a look at Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans.

Offensively, the Browns are clearly more talented than the Titans on paper. With an offensive attack highlighted by second-year quarterback Baker Mayfield and megastar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns have the potential for one of the best passing attacks in the NFL this year. The only problem is, Week 1 will be the first time all the Browns’ offensive pieces have come together in a game.

More. Who has most to prove in Week 1. light

Don’t be surprised if the Browns get off to a slow start on offense and struggle to connect early in Week 1. Fortunately for Cleveland, the true strength of their team relies on the defensive front, anchored by Defensive Player of the Year hopeful Myles Garrett. Garrett stands at the forefront of perhaps the league’s best defensive line, and the Titans will be rolling out backup left tackle Dennis Kelly in place of the suspended Taylor Lewan.

Overall, I love the Browns here, even if they do get off to a pretty slow start on the offense. The defense should be able to keep Marcus Mariota in check and manage the run game until Mayfield and the offense fully figure things out. The Browns might not be able to fully kick into gear for this one, but their raw talent can overpower Tennessee’s.
