No. 2: Tennessee Titans lose to Indianapolis Colts

Is this a revenge thing since the Tennessee Titans made the Browns look bad in Week 1? No, it really isn’t. While it’s natural to want a team to lose after beating your own club, the fact is the Titans loss is actually a good thing for the Browns.

With both teams being in the AFC, there’s a chance that they could end up fighting for a wildcard spot when the season starts to come to an end. Those head-to-head loses are always painful in that sense, which means Cleveland needs to do all they can to finish with a better record than a team like Tennessee that could steal their spot — should they not win the AFC North that is.

In this game, the Titans found themselves in a brutal defensive battle on their home turf in Nashville. Trailing for the majority of the game, they found a way to score late and go on top 17-13 in the fourth quarter. However, the Colts kept fighting and Jacoby Brissett ended up hitting T.Y. Hilton for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown.

While Indy is another team capable of earning a Wild Card berth, Cleveland could find themselves winning a tie-breaker with them if things fall right, but that won’t happen with Tennesse. That’s what makes this outcome favorable for them.
