2. Myles Garrett vs. Andrew Whitworth

Throughout the first two games of the 2019 NFL Season, Myles Garrett has been simply unblockable. He’s been credited with 10 tackles and has five quarterback sacks. That’s putting him on an unreal pace as he seeks to be mentioned along with players such as Aaron Donald.

He’s backed up the talk from the offseason that former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was limiting him by allowing just two pass rush moves. With him now gone, Garrett is starting to shine as he looks ready to become one of the bigger stars in the game.

As impressive as he’s been, this Sunday will be his toughest test yet. In Week 1, he faced Dennis Kelly, the Tennessee Titans reserve who was filling in for a suspended Taylor Lewan. In Week 2, it was Kelvin Beachum of the New York Jets. He’s not a bum by any means, but he’s not as well-respected as a blindside protector as Andrew Whitworth.

Despite being 37-years old, Whitworth continues to shine for Los Angeles and has been praised for elevating the play of the entire offensive line around. A four-time Pro Bow, and two-time All-Pro, Whitworth won’t shy away from Garrett one bit. As for Garrett, he’ll relish the opportunity to go up against one of the best in the game.

There will be wins for each player but if Garrett can make sure to come out on top, as he has the past couple of weeks, it could go a long way toward slowing the Rams offense down.
