2. Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Philadelphia Eagles

Throughout the 2018 season, there was a lot of hype around the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. Some were calling them the best in the league, which was a bit much, but they were still a talented group nonetheless. They were also very deep.

Now in 2019, they’re not being touted as the best any longer but they are still very deep — and actually have even more talent on the bench than they did in previous years. That’s due in large part to the addition of Andre Dillard, their first-round pick in 2019.

Dillard is the heir apparent to Jason Peters and currently serves as the swing tackle behind him and Lane Johnson. All that being true could make Halapoulivaati Vaitai a player they’re willing to part with.

Vaitai was a sixth-round pick back in 2016 and has proven to be an effective blocker when called upon. He’s able to play both guard and tackle, meaning even if he can’t beat out one of the edge blockers, he could improve the interior of the Cleveland line.

In his career, Vaitai has played in 42 games with 17 starts. He had the majority of those starts in 2017 when Peters was injured and helped them win their first Super Bowl in franchise history. If Cleveland could land him, they would be getting a versatile player who understands what it takes to win. That’s something this line can use right now.
