1. Trent Williams, Washington Redskins

This is a potential trade that has been discussed over and over again as the Cleveland Browns and Trent Williams seem like a match made in heaven. Williams is currently holding out from the Washington Redskins and it’s not even about money according to reports.

Williams grew frustrated with the organization and simply wants to play elsewhere. This isn’t shocking considering many players have been aggravated by Dany Snyder and Bruce Allen in D.C.

And while Washington continues to say they won’t trade Williams, you have to wonder if that will change soon. The team is now sitting at 0-3 and they look like a complete mess. They have no rhythm on either side of the ball and it’s not as if they’re about to start reeling off the wins.

With that being said, it would be wise for them to get something in exchange for Williams. At 31-years old, Williams doesn’t have a lot of time left in his career, so it’s hard to predict what it would take to get him to Cleveland.

What we do know, is that he’s a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and one of the best left tackles in the game. Even if they only get four years out of him, the Browns would be protecting Baker Mayfield through some of the most important developmental years of his career.

In the end, there are no guarantees Cleveland will do anything. However, if they did, these are three key names to keep an eye on.
