Stud: Jarvis Landry

No player deserves more credit for this win than No. 80. Jarvis Landry was unstoppable all game long as he proved to be the Ravens worst nightmare on Sunday.

It was clear that the plan for Baltimore on defense was to take OBJ out of the game and they did that. The star receiver had only two catches for 20 yards on seven targets, which was what the Ravens wanted.

However, it came at a price as Landry continually found openings in the defense to gash them for huge chunks of yardage.

Landry pulled in eight of 10 targets and had 167 yards with a long of 65 on the day. He didn’t score any touchdowns but he was instrumental in setting up Nick Chubb’s two-yard score as he grabbed a 12 yarder on one play and followed it up with a 29-yarder the next that put the ball on the two.

After a slow start to the season, Juice really broke out in a huge way. After adding his best friend and former LSU teammate this offseason, there was an expectation that Landry would be more effective this season even if he didn’t have similar targets to what he saw in 2018.

This game was a great example of why that was the expectation. With defenders doing all they could to try and keep Beckham from destroying their gameplan, Landry made them pay.

Finally, the Browns have a lethal combination at receiver and they were able to move the ball at will even with Beckham being slowed down.
