Game: (2-2) Cleveland Browns at (3-0) San Francisco 49ers

Summary: The Cleveland Browns hit the road for yet another primetime showdown. This week they take on the undefeated San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.

The Browns offense got on track last week versus the Baltimore Ravens and will be looking to keep their momentum going against a strong 49ers’ defensive unit. This will be the toughest test the Browns offensive line will have faced so far this season. It could potentially be the toughest test they have all year.

Look for head coach Freddie Kitchens to call Nick Chubb’s number often this week. The magical number of touches for Chubb needs to be just north of 20. Getting the running game going will be the most effective way to slow down the 49ers pass rush.

Odell Beckham Jr. should have another impressive MNF showing due to the 49ers lack of healthy cornerbacks. Also, we could be in for a fun matchup if Jarvis Landry draws cornerback and trash talker extraordinaire Richard Sherman.

The Browns defense will need to continue to play fundamentally sound football. The 49ers are a well-rounded offense with a creative play-caller in Kyle Shanahan. They like to run the football and hit big plays off of their play-action. Look for them to get their walking mismatch George Kittle involved early.

This should be Myles Garrett’s night to feast with 49ers perennial pro-bowler left tackle Joe Staley out with an injury.
Prediction: The Browns defense gets in the scoring act and scores their first touchdown of the year.

Prediction: Cleveland Browns 42, San Francisco 49ers 23
