Game: Seattle Seahawks (4-1) at Cleveland Browns (2-3)

The Browns were just smacked in the mouth by the San Francisco 49ers but that’s not the worst news. What really stands out as unfortunate is the fact that this was just the first game against some top-caliber teams.

This week, they have the Seattle Seahawks at home which will be followed by a road game against the New England Patriots — who will have extra time to prepare after playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 6.

However, we don’t need to worry about that game yet because the Seahawks bring enough problems to be concerned with on their own. Russell Wilson is playing at an MVP level and they’ve had some solid play from Tyler Lockett, Will Dissly, Chris Carson, and D.K. Metcalf.

Seattle’s defense is also a concern, even if they don’t have the Legion Of Boom secondary any longer. Now, they have a stronger defensive line which includes Jadeveon Clowney and Ezekiel Ansah. They have yet to take off but the talent is there and a struggling Browns offensive line could be exactly what they needed.

As for the Cleveland offense, they’ve been bad. There’s no other way to say it as they can’t move the ball through the air and continue to abandon the run even when Nick Chubb is rolling over defenders. Until they prove they can hang with elite teams, it’s probably safe to bet against them in these kinds of games.

Prediction: Seattle 35, Cleveland 14
