Final Thoughts/Recap

It is a nice feeling to only have a few holes to plug rather than a complete roster overhaul, unlike recent history for the Browns.Using the mock draft machine on The Draft Network’s website, the Browns are currently predicted to pick 14th in the draft after a slow 2-3 start to the season.

While there is a likely chance they will be picking much higher than 14th due to a weak second half of the season, we work with what we have thus far. Proof of the results of this mock draft can be seen below:

While the Browns will need to get an offensive tackle with their first round pick, they will likely miss out on the top tier of tackles Tristan Wirfs and Andrew Thomas. The next best include Leatherwood, selected here, Lucas Niang, and Prince Tega Wanogho.

Adding a some help to the defensive side of the ball on day two in Ashtyn Davis, who could be asked to start right away, and Marvin Wilson will give Wilks some much-needed flexibility.

Day three of the draft saw the Browns adding a couple offensive weapons in Vaughn and Hill, then adding more defensive depth in Garvin and Weaver.
