The Cleveland Browns have a lot to clean up during this week off. As they do that, we look ahead with these 5 bold predictions after the bye week

The Cleveland Browns (2-4) are in the midst of a disappointing time for the team and its fans. No one is happy with the way things have gone. Some have called for Freddie Kitchens to be fired. Some have written them off as a valuable playoff contender. Some think Baker Mayfield is overrated. The defamation of the team has come in waves. Tidal waves.

Others have been quick to tell those ready to say the Browns are done to relax—it’s early, and they’re right. It’s very early in this season. However, there have to be some concerns with all things considered.

The Browns are among the league worse in a lot of vital stats that illustrate a terrible team. Their -6 turnover ratio is 30th, and their 57 penalties and 506 penalty yards are first. Mayfield leads the league in interceptions.

They have had poor execution in critical moments. Their pass protection and run defense are abysmal. And yet, they’re only two games out of the division lead and hold the tiebreaker.

Maybe the doubt and the hate is good for the Browns. They’re used to playing with house money. Used to having everyone doubt them. Perhaps being the hunter isn’t their thing. Maybe that’s an excuse, and they simply need to play better. But the season is long, and ten games are remaining for the team.

That is plenty of time to right the ship. The Browns will be better; they have no choice. Here are five bold predictions for the Browns to finish the season.
