G Forrest Lamp, Los Angeles Chargers

Not only did Los Angeles Chargers’ offensive guard Forrest Lamp contemplate a trade request a year ago, but he has now openly bashed Chargers fans after their home stadium was filled with Pittsburgh Steelers fans on Sunday. Should the Browns look to outsource their right guard position, Lamp could be a candidate to come to Cleveland.

Selected in the second round of the 2017 draft out of Western Kentucky, Lamp was a slow developer and is now seeing the field for the first time as a starter in his third year. The Browns just traded one former second round pick, why not go out and try to acquire another?

Kush needs replaced and there is no way around it as he continues to grade out as one of the worst guards in the league. Teller may usurp his role during the bye week, but the Browns could also look outside of the building for Kush’s replacement as well.

Lamp is grading out below 60 according to Pro Football Focus, so the Chargers may be looking to move on, while the Browns may be hoping a change of scenery bumps his play. Lamp could more than likely be acquired for an early day-three pick in the upcoming draft.
