Sunday 4 p.m.(ish) games

The 4 p.m. games offer less for a Browns fan to enjoy. But if they take the proper angle, this time slot has a chance to be enjoyable.

Baltimore Ravens (4-2) at Seattle Seahawks (5-1)

Welcome to the 1990’s Bowl. Both teams in this matchup think the NFL peaked in the 1990’s. The Ravens are a throwback team who think running the ball is the key to success. So far, they have had success against the bottom feeders of the league. This week they play the third team on their schedule that presents a challenge. They lost to the other two. Is this the week the 1990’s can overtake the run happy Seahawks. Don’t call it a comeback! Especially if the Ravens get behind because they are not built to make a comeback. Browns fans can watch rooting for the Seahawks (if you can even stomach watching the idea of watching the Ravens *spit*).

New Orleans Saints (5-1) at Chicago Bears (3-2)

Welcome to the “We must defend our City” Bowl. Oh, what could have been! The Bears with quarterback and Cleveland native/favorite Mitch Trubisky take on the Saints. The Bears have a formidable defense. The offense may take a nose dive with Trubisky most likely returning. But none of that matters. Trubisky is a Cleveland boy and we always root for our own. Browns fans can enjoy this game thinking about what it might have been if Trubisky were in orange and brown.
