4. Greg Robinson

To be completely honest, this could have been any of the Browns’ offensive linemen, but Greg Robinson gets the spotlight. The Patriots are second in the league in sacks with 26. They scheme better than any defense up to this point of the season.

They disguised their plan of attack so well on Monday night it caused second-year quarterback Sam Darnold to say he saw ghosts on the field. He had no answer, and neither did their offensive line.

New England’s pass rush has been masterful this season, and the Browns’ pass blocking has left an enormous concern for the offense. Robinson has been rumored to be in line for a possible benching this week, but there aren’t many better options for the Browns as it clearly stands.

The more likely outcome is the Browns stand pat with their current offensive line and use schemes to allow them to play better. Getting the ball out quicker, leaning on the running game, and max protecting.

All of these things were primary reasons for the turnaround last season. The Browns have had two weeks to prepare for this game. The offensive line has been a topic of discussion for the entire time since the Seahawks game. Robinson has to protect the blindside of Mayfield, or it could be a very long day.
