Game: Cleveland Browns (2-4) at New England Patriots (7-0)

The Cleveland Browns were off last week and they needed the time to get together and regroup. Their season hasn’t gone as planned and they find themselves 2-4 after the first six games. The bye came at a good time too as Baker Mayfield was dealing with a hip issue in their last game. He hasn’t been particularly sharp this season, but they need him to be at 100 percent going forward.

As good as the time off was, the unfortunate news is that they’re going to play the New England Patriots who are on a roll right now. They just destroyed the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, their second shut out of the season. It was so ugly that Sam Darnold has become a meme for “seeing ghosts” on the field.

New England is known for Tom Brady but it’s their defense that’s been the problem for opponents this season. Cleveland could potentially slow the offense down, especially considering how well Myles Garrett has been at rushing the passer. The question is whether or not the Browns offense can put points up on New England.

Everything in me says the Patriots are going to win this one easily. But for some reason, this feels like a statement game for head coach Freddie Kitchens and his offense. I’m picking them to pull off a huge upset.
